Tradition &
History

The club Friborg Skunks Lacrosse was founded in August 2008. The first year of their existence, the Friborg Skunks together with the clubs from Olten and Lucerne formed a mixed team and played in the Swiss Lacrosse League A (SLL A). In 2009 this connection was resolved and the Friborg Skunks have been playing as a separate team in the SLL A. Since two seasons, when the Friborg Skunks had to play in the relegation games against the relegation, however, both times the preservation in the highest Swiss game class, the Freiburg Fulhamers managed a regular exploit in the season 2013. For the first time in the club's history they reached the playoffs and could finish the season in the final even on the third. This success is attributable on the one hand to an outstanding team performance and a self-confidence, but on the other hand also to the American Scott Hylen, who has trained the team in the meantime. The Friborg Skunks were able to benefit greatly from his great Lacrosse experience.

At the moment, the Friborg Skunks are on the right track to a stable and solid game. The Friborg Skunks have always been able to qualify in the midfield, since the Exploid in 2013.
